A Christmas to Remember in Lockhart

For over 30 years, Downtown Lockhart transformed into 19th-century England during the first weekend of December to celebrate A Dickens Christmas in Lockhart, a unique community event featuring authentic Victorian decorations and costumes, family-friendly entertainment, and youth group performances to celebrate the Christmas season in Lockhart.

As our community grows and changes, our event is growing and evolving. A Christmas to Remember in Lockhart carries on the tradition of A Dickens’ Christmas in Lockhart while embracing new ideas and partnerships. A Christmas to Remember in Lockhart is a holiday gift to the residents and visitors of Lockhart and Caldwell County and is presented by the Friends of the Dr. Eugene Clark Library in collaboration with the City of Lockhart, Lockhart Chamber of Commerce, Greater Caldwell County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Lockhart Downtown Business Association.

The holiday fun kicks off during First Friday, hosted by Lockhart Downtown Business Association, with the lighting of the Christmas tree and festive music while businesses stay open late for your Christmas shopping needs. On Saturday, the Friends of the Library will host the family-friendly Christmas festival events that we have known and loved for decades, and the Greater Caldwell County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will have a great assortment of food and craft vendors. Saturday evening, the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce will round out the weekend with the Lighted Christmas Parade, a fantastic display of lights traveling around the courthouse.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with other organizations and excited to watch A Christmas to Remember in Lockhart continue to grow along with our community. Follow the links below for more information.
