This symposium brings together five knowledgeable presenters for a day of sharing their passion about our Texas history, taking place in the Lyceum of Lockhart's historic Dr. Eugene Clark Library . Open to all, last year's inaugural symposium attracted over sixty attendees, most from out of town. Registration fee (cash or check) will be collected upon check-in at 9:00am. The Welcome will commence at 9:30am. The Morning Session will adjourn at 11:30am for a Lunch Break to visit one our local eateries. The Afternoon Session will begin at 1:00pm. The Discussion and open Reception at 4:00pm will be followed by dismissal at 5:00pm. Books and CDs of the presenters will be available for purchase and signing.
Evenings with the Songwriter. This series exploring the art and craft of songwriting is in its seventh season on the last Tuesday of the month in the historic Lyceum. It is hosted by Fletcher Clark, and made possible by Library Director Bertha Martinez and her able staff.
