1K Fun Run/Walk
Registration is open for the 14th Annual Lockhart Kiwanis 5K Stampede, March 28, 2020.
1K fun run/walk beginning at 8:00 a.m. & 5K will begin at 8:20 a.m.
This family friendly race will include beautiful scenery of historical downtown Lockhart and a challenging but mainly flat running course. This race features Chip Timing and online registration.
This flat course with long stretches through Lockhart's neighborhood area is a great place to set your Personal Best record.
Awards given for top 3 male/female runners by 10-year age categories. Awards for Top Male and Top Female as well as Top 3 Teams for the Team Challenge.
Team Challenge awards is based on the score of the top 7 team members according to their individual age category.

1K Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 a.m.
5K will begin at 8:20 a.m.
- Regular Registration- January 1-March 12 $25
- Late registration- March 13-race day $35
- Group rate- 7 people +; Jan. 1-March 12 $20
- Children under 12- $10
- 1K Fun Run/Walk $10
Online Registration closes March 12 (late fee applies to 5K adults only)
Fees include t-shirt & race packet while supplies last
Team Challenge/ Group Rate:
Is your organization, workplace or group of friends ready for a challenge?
Teams of 7 or more individuals comprised of any age group will compete for first, second and third place trophies. (maximum of 15 people per team)
Teams will be able to take advantage of the Group rate receiving a $5 per person discount; however, they must register by March 12th to receive the discount & take part in the challenge.
**All registrations must be received together during early registration either by mail or in person.

Race entry fees & sponsorships support scholarships to youth in Caldwell County.
Over $130,000 resulting in more than 100 scholarships have been given throughout the past 13 years.
