If you have not already done so when you created a user account\, please sign the liability waiver (this occurs once you sign up for your event\, electronically).\n\nParking: Street parking is available on Neches Street. Volunteer Parking is not permitted on Garcia Street\, or in front of the build site. Carpooling is encouraged.\n\nWhen bringing valuables\, please leave them locked away in your vehicle for the duration of your volunteer day. There is no on-site storage for personal items.\n\nLunch: Lunch is not provided by Austin Habitat. Please be prepared to bring your own lunch to site. Our lunch breaks typically occur around 11:30am. Often\, groups arrange their own catering\, so check with your team leaders. \n\nWhat to wear and bring: Please dress appropriately for a construction site by checking the weather forecast\, wearing close-toed shoes and no dangling jewelry. Please bring a water bottle. We will have water available on site for you throughout the volunteer day.\n\nInclement weather policy: We work rain or shine! If weather conditions are extreme or unsafe\, we will notify you the morning of your volunteer day and work to reschedule or cancel your project.\n\nAge Policy: All new construction and ReStore volunteers must be age 16 or older. Volunteers under the age of 18 will be issued a red nametag upon arrival to help us identify youth volunteers and tasks that can be issued to them.
