Chamber Banquet
The Chamber’s annual banquet is held in January on a Saturday each year and is a great kick-off to the Chamber calendar of events for the year.

Tolbert Texas State Chili Championship
This event invites cookers from across the state to show-off their best chili, brisket, ribs, beans, and Bloody Mary’s. This event grows every year and is held the third weekend of March.

The Rites of Spring
Gardening and home improvement businesses of Lockhart are featured around the square and through out the community each spring. Vendor and crafts booths are set up around the Courthouse featuring all kinds of plants, garden furniture, and home décor and craft items. Because of the popularity, this festival is scheduled for two days the end of March.

Chisholm Trail Round Up
Chisholm Trail is Lockhart’s biggest annual festival! This event is held Wednesday through Saturday on the second week of June at the Lockhart City Park. For more information visit the: the Chisholm Trail Roundup website

Fourth of July
Every year the City of Lockhart celebrates our Nation’s birthday with its annual Fourth of July Picnic in the Lockhart City Park.

Taste of Lockhart Cultures
This event is held in conjunction with the Diez y Seis celebration and offers a variety of cultural cuisine for participants to indulge in.

The Lighted Christmas Parade
This special lighted evening takes place on the first Friday night in December and rings in the holiday season. It is held in conjunction with the annual “A Dickens’ Christmas in Lockhart” sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
