The Rites of Spring
Gardening and home improvement businesses of Lockhart are featured around the square and through the community each spring. Business booths and crafts booths are set up around the Courthouse featuring all kinds of plants, garden furniture, and craft items. Because of it's popularity, this festival is scheduled for two days in 2008, on March 28th & 29th.

Chisholm Trail Round Up
Chisholm Trail is Lockhart's biggest annual festival! The second week of June, from Wednesday to Sunday, held at the Lockhart City Park. June 12th & 15th in 2008.

Music On The Square
Every year the Lockhart Business Committee and the Chamber hosts
"Music On The Square" on the Historic Caldwell County's Courthouse lawn.

Fourth of July
Every year the City of Lockhart celebrates our nation's birthday every year with it's annual Fourth of July Picnic at the City Park

Taste of Lockhart Cultures
The festival is held in conjunction with the Diez Y Seis celebration and offers a variety of cultural cuisine for participants to indulge in.

A Dickens Christmas
Every year Dickens takes place the first Friday night and all day Saturday in December at the annual “A Dickens’ Christmas in Lockhart” at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library located at 217 S. Main and Prairie Lea Streets.
