May

Cinco de Mayo
is celebration held the first weekend in May and host arts & crafts, food booths, and beverages with a dance each night. Visit the Greater Caldwell County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for more information.

September

Diez y Seis is now in the City Park in Lockhart and held the third weekend in September and host arts & crafts, food booths, and beverages with a dance each night. Visit the Greater Caldwell County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for more information.

October

An Evening with the Authors is the annual fundraiser for the Friends of the
Dr. Eugene Clark Library. The event is scheduled for the first Saturday in October in the Enchanted Gardens. For more information click here.

Speaking of the Dead is an annual tour of the Lockhart City Cemetery. This event is sponsored by the Caldwell County Historical Commission and the City of Lockhart. The proceeds from the tours benefit the Caldwell Co. Jail Museum. Each year promises to be “must attend” production with new “spirits” portrayed by stellar actors. December

“A Dickens Christmas in Lockhart” is a yearly event that takes place on the first Saturday in December in conjunction with the Lighted Christmas Parade on the first Friday. The festival includes 19th century Dickens’ characters followed by a day of entertainment at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library and around the Courthouse Square. Music, arts & crafts, food booths and fun is in store for all.

Lunch at the Library
A catered lunch with seasonal music and beautiful decorations at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library. This event is scheduled for the second Friday in December.
