Every year the City of Lockhart celebrates our Nation's birthday with its annual Fourth of July Family Picnic and Fireworks Display held in the Lockhart City Park. The City of Lockhart, First Lockhart National Bank, the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce, Bluebonnet Electric, and Sage Capital Bank sponsor the festival yearly that thousands come out to watch.

Beginning late in the afternoon there are arts 'n' crafts booths, vendor booths, a variety of food booths, games for the kids, as well as free swimming at the City Park pool from 10am-6pm. The highlight of the evening is sky divers at dusk that always put on a fantastic show that is sure to entertain thecrowds, followed by an extraordinary fireworks display for the city and its citizens. It is the largest spectacular fireworks display for any city of Lockhart's size in Central Texas!

Come join us for a fun and relaxing time watching children play games, waving sparklers, and visiting with friends, family, and neighbors.
